House of Scholars Weekend School
The House of Scholars Weekend School is constantly endeavoring to create an environment for the Muslim families, living in our community, to comfortably raise their children as good practicing Muslims and model citizens. The aim of our school is to provide our children with a good Islamic education along with leadership skills so they may grow into Muslim role models as youths and into their adulthood. The House Scholar is open to both boys and girls and is held on Saturday 9:45am to 3pm; boys ages 4-10 and girls ages 4-14. In addition to the regular classes, we offer electives once a month (Khitab club, cooking, Calagraphy, Fitness and wellness, Arts and Crafts).
Saturday School is committed to teaching Quran memorization and Arabic language and providing Islamic education to children of the Muslim community. The School is dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth and developing God consciousness through the teachings of Islam and the Qur’an.
The House of Scholars School aims to develop, for its students, self-assurance as American Muslims with a commitment to honoring family, community involvement and respecting others. The Saturday School strives to instill ethical values in the students towards becoming productive and responsible members of our society.
